Questions and Answers

FAQ
What is a rock and roll bed?
Campervan rock 'n' roll beds are versatile seating and sleeping solutions commonly used in camper van conversions. They are folded into a couch-like seating position whilst driving and easily converted into a bed at night.
Is a rock and roll bed comfortable?
One of the primary advantages of an R&R bed is its versatility. Rock and roll beds are designed to serve multiple purposes. They transform effortlessly from a comfortable (and legal) travelling seat for your passengers during the day to a super-comfy bed at night.
Does a rock and roll bed have to be M1 tested?
Not all rock and roll beds will be crash-tested (this is optional) or have an M1 Pull Test Certification to 76/115/EEC/2005. The M1 Pull Test replicates a crash of up to 30mph into a solid object, so is a vital factor to consider before purchase to ensure optimum safety
Can you travel on a rock and roll bed?
A rock n roll bed is a great way to have travelling seats and a bed in your van. Our beds are the safest on the market and the ease of use means the seat becomes a bed in a matter of seconds.
How To Operate The Rock & Roll Bed?
  1. Please follow the instructions below: 1. Stand in proper position and use the lever and pulling knob. 2. Never jerk or pull / push the bed with exaggerated power. 3. Avoid putting obstacles into the way of the bed, especially around the gas strut, whilst you operate it. 4. If you have purchased a gas strut bed, put your weight on the top of the bed whilst you release the locking mechanism, when opening to a bed position. 5. To open the gas strut bed, pull the lever knob and give a little punch to the headrest. 6. Please don’t slam the bed into the frame when closing to seater position, it might damage the mechanism.
Do rock and roll beds have ISOFIX?

ISOFIX available, these are attachment points to allow for the installation of child seats directly onto the bed when it's in the seating position.
